The majority of seasonings and food enhancements on the market contain preservatives and items that our human bodies are unable to process, breakdown, or eliminate. We suffer from high blood pressure due in part to the overuse of table salt, and diabetes/obesity due to white refined sugars.
WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE WITH DIS-EASE OR EAT GENETICALLY MODIFIED ORGANISMS (GMOs)!
Mz Betty was created to provide foodies with all natural, all organic flavor blends - from ingredients that originated in nature and have been minimally processed.
My mother, Mz. Betty, is my inspiration for this journey. She has high blood pressure, but agreed to do a 7 day fast for me. She did not take any of her blood pressure medication for 7 days. For the duration of her fast, I cooked all her meals and only used pink Himalayan sea salt or natural sweeteners (where salt or sugar was applicable) and her Blood Pressure went DOWN! No Meds, 7 days, pressure down -- the light came on and I wanted to help others too.
Initially, I began making blends and sharing them with my family, friends and classmates in zip lock bags; also providing them to my co-workers because they loved the smell of my lunch. After all the great feedback and several prompts of "you should sell these!", I decided to finally pursue a commercial endeavor for this passion of mine - and I Love it!
Mz Betty will never use preservatives, table salt, or white sugars. Whenever salt is included it will be an organic sea salt; and any sugar(s) will be a sweet fruit that has been dehydrated and ground. That is our promise to you.
